Well, here we are, a few days into our new ownership my Megacorp. I am sure glad we shut down our UNIX based firewalls and internet gateways and such and are using those provided by Megacorp. We just went back in time like 4 years! You thought dialup was slow..... you ain't seen shit! We have 2 T1 lines running to the US datacenter for Megacorp and our internet is worse than a 56k dialup. The 1200 PC users at our remote facilities are none to happy either. When we bring this poor performance issue up at one of the conference calls we have, I am told "Well, yes, we know it is slow. We have old firewalls and too many users but, that's the way it is".
