Man, I do not even know how to start this. Well, here goes. I am selling my mothers house. She passed away last year and my sister and I have been going through all her stuff. She lived in that house for 43 years and never tossed anything so she had lots of stuff.
Anyway, I listed it in March and had an offer 17 days later. The guy sort of jacked me around on the offer. I should have known this was a bad sign. I accepted his first offer and then he sort of backed out 2 days later and wanted to make a different deal. I said no way. So, the house sat for a day or two. An open house was scheduled. 2 days before the open house, the guy calls back and wants to go with the original offer. I told him Okay.. the original amount but you will waive the building inspection. I told him there is an open house in a few days and he is welcome to come in and check the place out and take it AS-IS. This person says he is in construction so I would think he knows what he is looking at.
Well, he accepts my price AND waives the building inspection. (whew.. you never know what a building inspector will find). Well, here it is, 2 days before closing and this moron calls his realator and bitches because I removed the Intercom system and the garage door opener. His realator calls my realator and my realator calls me. First, I did not remove shit. The house never had a garage door opener and never had an intercom system. Even the realator says there never was an intercom system and remembers having to lift the garage door manually. Furthermore, I told the realator I defy this buyer to go into the house and find any mounting brackets or any remnants of either an intercom system or a garage door opener.
This guy is really a total moron and can't remember what the house has or..... is just some cheap fucker trying to get some extra $$$ out of me by saying I removed shit that never even existed. Either way, if he backs out I get his $10,000 ernest money and then sell to someone else. Furthermore, how stupid does thus guy think I am? Does he think I maybe do not remember what was in the house? I grew up in that house. I know every inch of it inside and outside.
Man, people suck. This person is just another example of some cheap ass fucker trying to make a buck. You know, I was going to be helpful and give him the folder of all the receipts for the new windows and the new A/C and new furnace and all the other stuff my mother put into that house over the last few years. Well, now he can get screwed. He ain't getting shit from me. How old is that roof? Well, that's for me to know and you to find out asswipe!! What does this switch do on the wall? Well tard boy, I guess I do not remember. Go figure it out yourself you lying sack of shit.
SO, had to fill up lately? I have just about had it with these gas prices and this "supposed" fuel shortage. The oil companies keep saying "It's the law of supply and demand. The supply is low so the prices are high" and "demand is higher tham supply". That's Fucking bullshit and I can prove it.
First, most atricles I have read said that despite the high prices, people are still driving the way they do. Generally driving habits have not changed. So, if the consumption rate has remained the same, and the supply has dropped, then shouldn't there be a time when the gas station has no gas? Shouldn't there be lines of people wait for gas like in the mid 70's? Yeah yeah.. oil companis may have a surplus but these gas prices have been high enough for a long time and any extra oil they may have had is surely gone.
Look at it this way. Back in the days when beanie babies were popular, Mcdonalds had happy meals with beanie babies in them, these meals sold out and the beanie babies sold out in days. The result was lots of beanie babie demand and not enough beanie baby supply and beanie baby shortages. McDonalds ran out of beanie babies. Why have I not seen any Gas stations run out of gas?
The real culprit here is the arabs and the oil companies, helped along by Bush. I am no Bush basher. Both Bush and Kerry suck. They suck in their own ways but I feel Bush is better than Kerry. Kerry's views change daily so you never know if what he says he believes in today, he will believe in tomorrow. Bush sticks with his shit and while maybe could have done better at this or that, you generally know where he is coming from.
Anyway, The oil companies and the Saudi's are using the tension in the middle east to raise oil prices. The Bush admin is from Texas. Texas has lots of Oil money in it and lots of rich folks who get rich off of oil and Bush, being from texas and probably friendly with these folks, is not going to rock the boat. It's real simple. Look who will profit the most from high gas prices. The Oil companies and the people who pump the oil. Exxon had like record profits the recently. Less oil being pumped would mean less oil being soild which would mean less profits and less revenue unless the profit margin was raised by increasing the price.
